Congress, Please Get rid of the Mandate

To me, the Health Care issue boils down to one thing, the mandate.

Yes, there are tons of other reasons why Obamacare is a total failure, but before Obama, I could go along my own way, without being forced to buy health insurance.

Today, I have no choice, I'm forced to buy insurance or pay a fine.

This was all a scheme to get everybody paying into "the system," so the poor or less fortunate, or lazy, can get either free insurance or reduced rates.

Since Obamacare ( The Affordable Care Act) has become law, I have chosen to pay the fine, refusing to give in.  The IRS takes my penalty each year, and there's nothing I can do about it.

If I could ask for one thing, it is to remove the mandate and roll back the clock to pre-Obama era insurance, where we had control instead of the government.

Cut the chains from around our necks and close the chapter on Obama.
