The Hidden Threat: How Socialism is Creeping into McLennan County

 The Socialist Agenda is Real and in McLennan County

What many people dismiss as a fleeting, here-today-gone-tomorrow movement is, in reality, a growing Socialist initiative in our county. This alarming trend is fueled by the support of the McLennan County Democrat Party and its associated organizations.

This is not hearsay or conspiracy. Many have said I am overreacting to the growing movement, but the connections are there, and their efforts will continue until they are opposed.

In 2024, under President Biden, our country’s inflation is spiraling out of control. I don’t have to tell you about the increased prices at the grocery store or gas pump. Times are tough, and in these tough times, the Socialists creep in.

What is Democratic Socialism?

“Capitalism is a system designed by the owning class to exploit the rest of us for their own profit. We must replace it with democratic socialism, a system where ordinary people have a real voice in our workplaces, neighborhoods, and society.” - Democratic Socialists of America 

Unfortunately, the mindset of many people in our community has shifted from one of high achievement and greatness to an ideology based on failed socialist policies, where the focus is on mere survival.

In the utopian vision created by these Socialist propagandists, everyone is “equal.” No one goes hungry. No one worries about paying bills or achieving anything significant. Doctors are paid the same as the ditch digger. Extra effort means nothing. They believe the government should provide for all their needs, including shelter and healthcare.

What may seem like a solution to some, most of us recognize as a trap. Like mice drawn to cheese, these Socialist hopefuls are ensnared and trapped like rats. They begin to lose their faith in God and any hope of success. They lose their desire to achieve and ultimately become dependent on the government.

I have friends from Cuba who speak the truth about life under communist rule. Life there is incomprehensible for most Americans. We are clueless about the harsh reality of survival there. You eat what is laid before you because you don’t know when you will eat again.

You might ask, why conflate communism and socialism? I argue there is no conflation; socialism inevitably leads to communism. “The goal of socialism is communism,” - Vladimir Lenin 

Sadly, in McLennan County, the Democrat Party supports socialism. They collaborate with groups such as the Party for Socialism and Liberation, BLACCENT, the Democratic Socialists of America, Change Waco, and other organizations working together to undermine America.

The Socialists' stated policy is to dismantle capitalism and everything associated with it, replacing it with socialism. Common sense tells me if you support organizations aiming to bring down capitalism, you are trying to undermine me—a business owner, family man, and American patriot. I stand firmly against what Democrats and their Socialist comrades are attempting to do.

Therefore, the Democrat Party in McLennan County must unequivocally reject and denounce these organizations, or they will be known as collaborators with anti-American, anti-capitalist entities. The Democrat Party also supports candidates affiliated with these groups and their socialist policies, such as promoting "Cite and Release" programs instead of arresting and detaining criminals.

As a Hispanic Republican, U.S. Air Force veteran, and business owner, I, along with my fellow Hispanic Republicans in McLennan County, reject socialism and any group or organization associated with it. We support the American dream and proudly choose to stand with our fellow patriots rather than slide down the dismal path of socialism.

The Socialist Movement's Impact

Historically, socialism has often led to economic downfall and loss of personal freedoms. Take Venezuela, for example—a once-prosperous nation now struggling with hyperinflation, food shortages, and widespread poverty after embracing socialist policies.  The erosion of capitalism has severe consequences, as seen in various parts of the world.

The allure of socialism is often presented as a solution to inequality and economic hardship. However, the reality is far different. Government control over industries and resources leads to inefficiency, corruption, and a lack of innovation. When individuals are not incentivized to work hard and achieve, society as a whole suffers.

Local Implications

In McLennan County, the rise of socialism threatens our way of life. As a business owner, I see firsthand the importance of capitalism in fostering entrepreneurship and economic growth. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, providing jobs and opportunities for countless families. Socialism's aim to dismantle capitalism directly impacts the livelihoods of many hard-working Americans.

The McLennan County Democrat Party's support for socialist-leaning policies and organizations raises concerns about the future of our community. Local leaders must recognize the dangers of socialism and take a stand against it. By supporting capitalist principles, we ensure a prosperous and free society for future generations.
